Dark Romance and Paranormal Romance is my passion. I love writing stories about people falling in love against a gothic backdrop usually with a paranormal twist and stories of horror intended to scare, unsettle, or horrify the reader. Because modern horror fiction found its roots in gothic novels, I tend to lean toward that former popular genre. I also write romantic suspense novels.
Now that you’re here, I hope you’ll browse around my site to find out what I’m currently working on and what is available now, and browse all the special features here. I also have excerpts from all of my novels posted for your reading pleasure.
On this site you'll find along with information about me and my interests, a few personal things I've only shared with friends and family, such as a brief history of my life and how I got started as a writer, a real ghost story, and a gallary page devoted to pictures of your favorite characters.
Take your time looking around, my is site is massive with hidden treasures scattered throughout!
And I wanted to place to express a BIG "thank you" to all my readers who have given me so much support. Words truly can't express just how much your compassion means to me.
I don't know if people realize it or not, but creating a world for readers (and myself) to indulge in is what makes writing stories fun. Without you, the worlds I play in and the characters I create would only exist in my mind. It is a great honor that I get to share their intimate stories with you. To me, my worlds are real. My characters are real. Writing is a learning process and I learn more about myself and the craft of writing every day. Since it's my passion to write the kind of stories that I enjoy reading myself, I try my best to do them justice. I don't know if I’m always successful in convening that, but I always try my best.
But without you, I couldn't do what I love. And for that, I am forever grateful. There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for letting me share my (their) stories with you. Thank you for taking these journeys with me into realms far beyond the norm of romance.

Well, in closing I'd like to add that I'm a big fan of traditional Gothic novels, (Love the book covers too!) and since I'm a modern-day writer, I strive to bring that elegance unto the written page. As a result, my books are dark, mysterious, romantic, and sometimes eerie, with the recurring gloomy mansion, a beautiful, inquisitive heroine, and a brooding, but handsome hero.
For those of you that have yet to read one of my stories, my prose is quite unique and a bit different from the “norm of romances” you may be used to reading. I can promise you that my books will be so appealing and believable that you will find yourself walking in the heroine's shoes, seeing through her eyes, speaking her words, feeling her fears, her struggles, her anguish, and even her ecstasy. Once you begin reading one of my stories, before you know it, you will find yourself swept up in the suspenseful romantic intrigue as you hurry to turn those pages. The endings are sometime surprising... sometimes happy... sometimes bittersweet... but they are NEVER boring or predictable!

WHAT IS “PARANORMAL ROMANCE”?
Paranormal romance is one of the fastest growing genres in fiction, and may not be what you think it is.
In standard romance publishing terminology, “paranormal romance” is a subgenre of romance. But paranormal romances do not mainly focus on romance, and they include elements beyond the range of scientific explanation, blending together themes from the genres of traditional fantasy, science fiction, or horror and has its roots in Gothic fiction.
Not all paranormal romance is adventure or supernatural, of course. Sometimes the stories are about the journey taken that we call “love.” Characters learn and grow on this journey and it can end in any number of ways. When it does end happily, “happy” may or may not mean life with someone else in a continuing monogamous relationship, like a typical romance novel.
By combining the aspects of so many “types” of literature, paranormal romance is becoming a type unto itself.
We could drop the word “Romance” and that would leave us with, of course, Paranormal—and yes, you often hear PR called just paranormal or the novels termed paranormals—but in a bookstore, that might land us somewhere in the nonfiction books section.
